A group of young, North Carolina leaders recently previewed Coming Out ~ Coming In. Here are some of their comments:

"The stories are very personal and engaging.  This program offers a great way for people who don't have gay friends to hear personal views and understand better."

"Extremely powerful and well done.  A positive statement about Christianity and inclusiveness."

"Beautiful and refreshing to have a video that lets each person tell their story.  It raised my awareness of how hurtful churches are.  Makes me wonder if my own church is being hurtful in ways we don't even realize."

"Very moving program.  It motivates me to ask 'What can I do?'"

"The depth of faith expressed is as powerful as their hurt and pain."

"I found the program incredibly moving. I am struggling with my own Christianity but hearing these people discuss what their faith means to them is more inspiring than anything I've heard in church lately."

"I was deeply and powerfully moved by people willing to share their stories. But I think the issue of gays and lesbians in church will continue to challenge all denominations for the next 10-20 years."
